Established after the General Assembly on 26th January 2024, the BSE is the result of a strategic effort led by the BRB—the pioneering project in establishing a capital market in Burundi. Created in collaboration with key financial institutions, including the Banque Centrale du Burundi and under the guidance of the Autorité de Régulation du Marché des Capitaux (ARMC), the BSE was registered under ADB on 26th March 2024. Our history is marked by a commitment to transparency, innovation, and investor protection.
